Obedience is designed for dogs 12 weeks old and older. The lessons focus on building the relationship between the dog and the handler. We help build good communication skills, so things are clear, and everyone is set up for success. This course helps with basic commands and manners. If you already have the basics down, this class will help you work with distractions, and show you the next level of skills. This can really help if you are looking to take them into public places on a regular basis.
My Healthy Dog is designed for puppies as well as adult dogs. Dog fitness helps keep your dog’s mind sharp and helps reduce the risk of injury and age-related illnesses along with keeping them trim and joints lubricated. Working with your dog on their fitness increases your bond and helps with obedience while decreasing the chance of your dog engaging in destructive or annoying behaviors. A healthy dog has a longer and better-quality life. There is no special equipment to buy since most exercises can be done with items you already have.
Hoopers is a canine sport that is about running a free-flowing course made up of hoops, barrels, and tunnels. This is a high energy sport good for dogs that have a lot of energy. It easier on joints making it safe for puppies, seniors, and handicap dogs. Dogs are working off leash, so it strengthens the bond and helps reliability off leash.
The obstacles for the sport are easily made so practicing at home is budget friendly. Hoopers is a great alternative to going to dog parks and supports RolloverU’s training philosophy.
The class helps you work with your dog in a fun way and really does not require an aptitude for dancing. This class teaches Heelwork-To-Music and Canine Freestyle. Heelwork-To-Music or HTM is for people that are rhythmically challenged. The music for this style is usually a march or something with a march like beat so it is easy to walk in time with the music. Canine Freestyle allows for more distance between handler and dog so being able to dance is helpful but still not necessary. In Freestyle the music is more varied and the routine generally tells a story.
This class is a play-off of the dog sport Triebball or Urban Herding. We use the skills and concepts to teach a game that can be played at home. While herding breeds will learn to use their natural instincts it is a good workout for any high energy dog. The concepts are easy to learn and will build a stronger bond with your dog and help them learn to work away from you but stay focused on you. This class will not prepare you for competing it is for having fun with your high energy dog.
Rally is a great way to burn energy and have fun with your dog. Rally helps build focus and proof your obedience skills by setting up an obstacle course of cues. Rally is a great way to socialize your dog in a safe environment while practicing various skills and cues with distractions.
