Unaltered Dogs

Updating Paperwork

Shot Requirements

We understand that certain breeds, mainly large breeds can benefit from waiting to be spayed or neutered until they are a year or older. We are also aware that some medical conditions can make it dangerous for a dog to have the procedure. We evaluate and accept unaltered dogs on an individual basis. Please be aware that if your dog is unaltered they may spend more time in a kennel or separated from the group.

Shot Requirements

Updating Paperwork

Shot Requirements

The State of Kansas requires that all dogs be vaccinated against Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, and Bordetella. The State also requires all facilities that provide care for dogs to have a copy of the shot records for every dog in their care.

As per State regulations, if your dog's shot records expire and we do not receive an updated copy, we will no longer be able to accept your dog at our facility. You will need to complete the enrollment process again in order for them to come back.

We may ask you to review and update information gathered during enrollment periodically. This is to ensure we have the correct information on hand.

If you take a break for more than a year from boarding or daycare you will need to complete the enrollment process again.  We keep completed forms until the end of the calendar year. If you do not complete the process before then you will need to complete the forms again.

Illness

Pick up / Drop Off

Pick up / Drop Off

If your dog is sick please keep them home to help prevent the spread of the illness. We check for general wellness each time a dog is dropped off for daycare or boarding and if they are showing signs of being sick or contagious, we will not accept them for that day.

If a dog starts showing signs of being sick while at daycare, we will isolate the dog to minimize exposure to other dogs and call the owners and ask that they come and get their dog so they can be taken to a vet and evaluated.

If a dog is diagnosised with something highly contagious a note from the vet stating the dog is no longer contgious is required before they will be allowed back into daycare.

Training Policies

Attendance Policy

Children in Group Classes

Children in Group Classes

If you miss a class, please make arrangements with your RolloverU Trainer to make up the class. We have multiple options for making up classes. Your Trainer can help you find the one that best fits your needs. Note: If a student misses three (3) or more classes they may be dropped from the class and all class fees are forfeited. Students have 24 hours after a missed class to make arrangements to make up the class. Students must attend class to get any related handouts.

Children in Group Classes

Children in Group Classes

Children in Group Classes

Children are allowed in class if there is an adult available to supervise them that is not handling the dog. Older children that want to participate in learning to train their dog are encouraged to attend class with the dog if they understand they are there to learn and not meet or play with the other dogs in the class. They will be asked to leave if they become disruptive and/or cause an unsafe environment for the class or themselves.

Equipment for Class

Unfortunately, there are times when RolloverU must cancel a class due to a lack of enrollment. If this happens, we will notify any registered students via email at least 3 days prior to the class starting date.

If a single class session is canceled due to weather or other emergencies, an email will be sent out as soon as possible.

Equipment for Class

Agressive/Reactive Dogs

Equipment for Class

Dogs should have the correct equipment that is fitted properly. Collars and harnesses should be snug enough that the dog cannot slip out of them. Dogs should be on a 5 to 6ft leash. Retractable leashes are not allowed. If your dog usually wears a harness, please fit him or her with a collar also. There are times, especially in a group class setting when a harness does not provide enough control over the dog.

Agressive/Reactive Dogs

Agressive/Reactive Dogs

Agressive/Reactive Dogs

Dogs attending group classes should not be reactive toward other dogs and/or people. A certain amount of barking and interest in the others in class is to be expected. However, if your dog lunges, snarls, growls, or snaps at other dogs and/or people a regular group class may not be a good fit. RolloverU has options available for reactive dogs. We are happy to help you decide if a group class is right for your dog.

Refunds

Agressive/Reactive Dogs

Agressive/Reactive Dogs

Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for classes once you have reserved your space. We can offer full credit toward a future class if notification is given at least 7 business days before the class begins. We cannot offer any refunds or credits once a class has started. Credits must be used within 6 months of the starting date of the class it was issued for. Credits can be used for any service provided by RolloverU.
